Notes,Bulletins, and Product Information

MasterLink Software distributes important operational information to clients through an integrated Notes and Bulletins system designed to provide immediate communication regarding critical updates and operational concerns.

These bulletins are uploaded directly to the MasterLink Software servers and are automatically detected by the MLS update system.

When a new bulletin is available:

The system downloads the notification automatically

A popup alert is displayed to users

The alert remains active until the bulletin has been reviewed

This ensures that important operational information is not overlooked.

Purpose Of The Bulletin System

The bulletin system is reserved strictly for:

Critical operational information

Important software updates

Program refinements

Bug notifications

Security or compatibility concerns

Essential workflow changes

MasterLink Software does NOT use this system for:

Advertising

Marketing promotions

Random articles

Unrelated announcements

Every bulletin is intended to provide information that directly impacts the daily operation of MLS or the businesses that rely upon it.

Continuous Product Development

MasterLink Shop Writer began development in 1982 based on direct input from service shop owners in Southern California.

As the software expanded throughout:

The United States

Canada

Multiple service industries

the development philosophy remained unchanged:

Real-world operational input drives software development.

The MLS system continues to evolve through:

User suggestions

Operational observations

Industry changes

New technology

Practical daily experience from active service centers

Suggestions from clients are reviewed continuously by the development team and frequently translated into:

New features

Workflow improvements

Performance enhancements

Interface refinements

Additional automation tools

Rapid Distribution Of Improvements

Because MLS includes automated updating capabilities, clients are often able to receive:

New features

Refinements

Bug corrections

Operational improvements

within days of development completion.

This allows MasterLink Software to respond rapidly to changing business and operational requirements.

The MLS Blog

In addition to system bulletins, MasterLink Software maintains an online BLOG containing:

New feature announcements

Version release notes

Refinement summaries

Development updates

General operational information

The BLOG serves as an ongoing information source for users who wish to remain informed regarding continuing MLS development.

Most BLOG entries are intentionally brief and focused on:

What changed

Why it matters

How it improves operations
