The Services tab provides access to integrated 3rd party products and services that work directly with MLS 2026. These integrations extend the capabilities of the system by allowing outside vendors and service providers to communicate directly with the active workorder.
The buttons displayed on this tab depend entirely on:
•Which interface products are installed
•Which services your shop has contracted to use
•Which integrations are currently active
If a service is not installed or licensed:
•Its button will not appear
The Services tab acts as a central launch point for:
•Parts catalogs
•Labor guides
•Customer follow-up systems
•Vehicle information providers
•Inspection systems
•Marketing systems
•Vendor ordering systems
•Additional service utilities
These integrations are designed to:
•Reduce duplicate typing
•Improve accuracy
•Save time
•Streamline workflow
•Improve customer service
If your shop uses:
•Customer reminder services
•Marketing systems
•Follow-up programs
the Services tab may display buttons used to:
•Generate reports
•Send data
•Upload completed service information
•Manage follow-up transmissions
Depending on the provider, these systems may help automate:
•Service reminders
•Maintenance notifications
•Marketing campaigns
•Client retention programs
The actual functionality depends on:
•The specific vendor
•The services you have contracted to use
Many parts vendors provide electronic catalog systems that integrate directly with MLS 2026.
When you click a Parts Catalog button:
•The vendor’s catalog software launches automatically
From there you may:
•Search for parts
•Verify availability
•Check pricing
•Place orders
•Review application data
When you exit the vendor program and return to MLS:
•The selected parts are automatically transferred to the workorder
This greatly reduces:
•Manual entry
•Typing errors
•Incorrect part numbers
and speeds up the parts ordering process significantly.
If you use integrated labor guide systems:
•The Services tab may display buttons for those products
These systems allow you to:
•Look up labor operations
•Review flat-rate times
•Access manufacturer procedures
•Retrieve service descriptions
When the labor operation is selected:
•The information is returned directly to MLS 2026
You may then choose to:
•Import the labor description as a new workorder entry
•Or simply apply the labor time/rate to an existing task
This helps maintain:
•Consistent estimating
•Accurate labor billing
•Standardized repair descriptions
The Services tab helps eliminate:
•Duplicate data entry
•Manual retyping
•Switching between disconnected systems
Integrated services communicate directly with:
•The active workorder
•Vehicle information
•Labor entries
•Parts lists
This creates a much smoother workflow for:
•Service advisors
•Parts personnel
•Technicians
•Management staff
One of the major advantages of MLS 2026 integration services is:
•Automatic transfer of selected information
Depending on the interface, this may include:
•Parts
•Labor descriptions
•Labor times
•Vehicle data
•Service history references
•Client information
This improves:
•Speed
•Accuracy
•Consistency
while reducing:
•Human error
•Repetitive typing
Because the Services tab is dynamic:
•Each installation may display different buttons
The displayed options depend on:
•Licensed products
•Installed vendor software
•Active subscriptions
•Configured interfaces
For complete details regarding:
•Setup
•Activation
•Usage procedures
•Vendor-specific functions
please review the:
•Interface Products section of this manual
where each supported integration is discussed individually.
•Use integrated catalogs whenever possible
•Verify imported parts before finalizing
•Review imported labor descriptions for accuracy
•Maintain current vendor interface updates
•Understand the capabilities of each installed service
•Use automation to reduce duplicate entry and improve efficiency
The Services tab helps transform MLS 2026 into a centralized work processing platform by connecting your shop directly with outside vendor systems and service providers.
