Printing The Report

Once you have selected the data to print, you will select the button which says Print The Data Above.  It will provide a "decision window" with all of the options below.  Make your selections, and then proceed with the print operation.  These options all relate to your personal preference and what will best accommodate your data.

The printing options available are:

Title

Enter the information in this box that you wish displayed on the top of each page.  This will be the name of the report.

Page Format

•Print Page Headings - Do you wish the heading ( title, date, etc ) printed at the top of the page ?

•Print Page Numbers - Do you want page numbers printed at the top of each page ?

•Print Column Headings - Do you want the field names printed at the top of each column ?

•Print Grid Lines - Do you want the lines between the columns and rows, as shown on the screen, on the printout ?

•Use Display Text - This  means that all field data will be displayed as it is shown on the monitor.

•Use Column Alignment - This means that the column alignment will be printed as displayed on the monitor.

Select Columns

•All Columns - Print the report to include all columns in the database

•Visible Columns - Print the report to include only those columns visible on the monitor

Number of Copies

Select the number of copies of this report you wish to have printed

Page Layout

•Columnar - Display the data in column format, with each record on a single line

•Records - Print the data for each record in a group

Select Rows To Print

•All Rows - Do you wish to print all rows of the database ?

•Current Row - Do you wish to only print the record currently selected ?

•Selected Rows - Do you wish to just print the highlighted ( selected ) records ?

•Visible Rows - Do you wish to just print those rows which are visible on the monitor.

Page Orientation

•Portrait - Print the report on the paper loaded vertically ( 8.5" wide x 11" long )

•Landscape - Print the report on the paper horizontally ( 11" wide x 8.5" long )

Fonts

•Page Title - Click here to change the font for the page title

•Grid Data - Click here to change the font for the data
